The 3 Best Foodie Instagrams of 2019 (That Every Adventurous Traveler Should Know About!)

Have you ever traveled to another country, only to realize when you get back home that there were so many things you didn’t even know existed, and therefore didn’t try?

So been there! #instaregret ☹

Honestly, this is going to sound silly and most likely a little embarrassing, but when I spent two weeks in Spain in 2017… I didn’t try Paella! I know, I know… what a sin!

Here’s the thing: I sort of already knew what it was, however, the real reason I never tried it was because I was overwhelmed by all the options.

So much so, that I ended up spending the rest of my days in analysis paralysis.

No bueno! 🤦‍♀️

That’s why in today’s article, I’m spilling the beans, tea, and all the things about our favourite three food & travel bloggers – guaranteed that if you take a look at their incredibly amazing content, you’ll never have food FOMO (“fear of missing out”) again!

As always, let’s get right into it! 👇

Trevor of The Food Ranger

Currently on a World Noodle Tour (say whaaa..?😱) as of writing this article, Trevor is hands down one of our top traveling foodies. Not only does he commit to epic, weekly street food videos – which we love, as we’re all about traditional food! – he’s also very open to meeting new people across the world as he adventures his way through the local cuisine.

He’s relatable, quirky, and a fellow travel + food addict!

Mark of Migrationology

If there’s one person you should follow for some seriously epic food + travel content, Mark Weins is your guy! Based in Bangkok, he’s an avid traveler always getting up to quite adventurous things in the name of food!

Our favourite thing about Mark is his laid-back personality.

While you’re watching him do his thing 🤳, you get a sense of being his friend, walking through the steamy street stalls or munching down on authentic cuisines right there with him!

Make sure to check him out on Instagram for the latest + greatest updates as he travels for food!

Sonny of Best Ever Food Review

Okay.. Sonny has such a cool vibe the minute you land on his Instagram! For one, he’s all about hunting down super unique food – just spend a few minutes checking out his content, and you’ll see he’s been to some pretty far flung places, including Kenya!

Sonny has a knack for connecting with others, collaborating with locals and building a community. Plus, he even sells really rad merchandise for all his ‘Bestys’ (just check out his Instagram highlight and you’ll see what I mean 😅)

Final Thoughts

All three of these traveling foodies have a special sauce they bring to the table (yes, pun intented) so there’s no way I could just pick a single favourite.

I absolutely love Sonny’s way of getting right in there with the people who were born, raised and now cook in certain communities all around the world. Trevor and his wife Ting have an amazing way of making you feel like you’re a part of something bigger; and Mark’s probably got the best reactions to tasting food across the entire Internet.

Show them some love and give them a follow!

Then, come back here and drop a comment below telling us who YOUR personal favourite is and why!

Happy drooling! 😉🤤

  • Oh my god. My mouth was drooling reading and looking at these food pics in your blog articles! How cool would it be to have ‘worldwide food tours franchise’ so you know the quality of service is great like EWC and get to try all the yummy food all over the world!
